A shitty coi saw roaming Central Park in New York

CENTRAL PARK, Manhattan (WABC) – A coyote was spotted in Central Park last week, a rare sighting of the wild canine that had previously been seen in January.

The wild dog was spotted last Monday near the Water Conservatory, a pond on the east side of the park, near 74th Street.

Coyotes have been reported to have lived in New York City for the past 30 years, but only one is known to have lived in Central Park.

The New York Parks Department says anyone who sees the animal should stay calm and contact Parks staff if it seems aggressive or fearless.
