Adam Perkins, star of the viral video, died at the age of 24

Adam Perkins, a Vine star known for his draft video sketches, died Sunday at the age of 24.

The twin brother of social media influencer Patrick Perkins confirmed his tragic move to Instagram on Tuesday, but did not reveal the cause of death.

“My brother, Adam Perkins, died this past Sunday, 11-11-04,” Perkins, 24, wrote in a lengthy tribute to his brother. He also posted photos of himself and his late twin over the years.

“I can’t even express in words what this loss means to me,” lamented Perkins, who collaborated on many videos with his brother. “I’m often asked, ‘What is it like to be a twin?’ and my answer is usually, “What is it like NOT to be a twin?”

He added: “I am struggling to find the words to explain what it will be like for me to live in this world without him.”

Adam Perkins first gained online attention with his hilarious “Welcome to Chili’s” saga in 2015 on the now defunct Vine platform, in which he screams the iconic restaurant chain motto while he was in his boxers. The clip accumulated more than 20 million loops in one year and generated multiple parodies and remixes, Metro reported.

From there, he created a series of fun videos in the video sharing app and popularized the hashtag #whiteteen, Newsweek reported.

Before Vine sank, the Internet sensation had 290,000 followers.

His successes were not limited to social media. The self-proclaimed “composer” and “whizkid spreadsheet” graduated from NYU with a bachelor’s degree in music composition and released his first album, “Latch Relay,” in 2018 under the name Plas Teg.
