Britney Spears reportedly blames her reduced time with her two children on her father Jamie Spears.
The 39-year-old pop star holds him responsible for his unfavorable custody balance because he allegedly assaulted his 15-year-old son, Sean Preston, Us Weekly reported Friday.
The report follows Jamie’s claim on CNN that he and Britney had been on “good terms” until August of this year, after which they had not spoken.

“For Jamie to say he and Britney were on‘ good terms ’until August is outrageous,” the informant said. “August 2019 maybe, but not August 2020.”
They continued to blame Jamie, who is in charge of Britney’s long conservative, for spending less time with Sean and her other son Jayden James, 14.
‘[Jamie] it is the reason why he has much less time in custody with his children than before “, the source continued.
The incident with Jamie and Preston changed everything. It was a major blow to Britney. She, Kevin, Preston and Jayden have seen Jamie differently since then.
In September 2019, Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline told police that Jamie had an intense argument with Sean, who was then only 13 years old.

Sean had locked himself in a room, but Jamie broke down the door and violently shook his grandson, TMZ reported at the time.
Although the Spears family patriarch was investigated by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, no charges were ever brought against him.
Kevin was able to obtain a restraining order against his former father-in-law the same month.
Shortly after the incident, Britney and Kevin formalized a new custody agreement, with the children spending 70% of their time with their father and 30% with their mother.
Previously, parents had a 50-50 division.

Furious: Britney apparently blames Jamie for her reduced time with the children, although she reportedly followed the deal between 70 and 30 even before the alleged assault
Now, Britney seems to blame her father for the major cut that happened to her boys.
However, by the time the new custody agreement was agreed, it was reported that the Toxic singer and her ex had already unofficially followed the new custody agreement, suggesting that she had chosen to have less time with the children before Jamie’s alleged assault.
On Tuesday, Britney’s father stated that he had not spoken to her since August of this year, although he claimed that their relationship had gone smoothly before then.
“I love my daughter and I miss her so much,” she said. “When a family member needs special care and protection, families need to strengthen themselves, as I have done for the past twelve more years, to safeguard, protect, and continue to love Britney unconditionally.

Conflicting Statements: Jamie’s lawyer, Vivian Lee Thoreen, told CNN that Britney’s lack of communication with her father was a strategy devised by her legal team.
“I have and will continue to provide unwavering love and fierce protection against those with self-interest and those who try to harm her or my family.”
Jamie was accompanied in the television interview by his lawyer Vivian Lee Thoreen, who stated that Britney’s lack of communication with her father was a strategy devised by her legal team.
“Jamie’s relationship with Britney is not that different from your average father-daughter relationship in that there has always been mutual love and mutual respect,” she said.
Until Britney’s court-appointed attorney, Sam Ingham, abruptly instructed Jamie not to contact Britney a few months ago, Jamie and Britney had spoken frequently and regularly throughout the conservatory. In fact, they had spoken the day before and had a pleasant, collaborative conversation.

The Ups! … And Did It Again has seen its ability to make legal and financial decisions diminished since 2008, when it suffered a public mental health crisis.
In September 2019, Jamie took a break from being her daughter’s conservative in the midst of her own health issues, and her caregiver, Jodi Montgomery, took on the role of conservative.
In recent months, Britney has tried to completely remove Jamie from the conservatory and replace him permanently with Montgomery.
