Britney Spears hasn’t seen “Framing Britney Spears,” but she knows the New York Times documentary is putting a big spotlight on her conservatism issues, a source told Page Six exclusively.
“As of Sunday, Britney hadn’t seen the documentary, but she’s aware of it,” the source said. “I hadn’t seen anything.”
When asked if 39-year-old Britney was not given permission to see the docuseries as part of her legal restrictions, the privileged person shared that it was the pop star’s decision not to see -the.
“She has chosen not to look at it because she is fed up with the Conservative,” the source said. “She feels like she’s missing a hole in her life because of conservatism and she won’t be able to live a normal life until it’s over. She knows it’s a battle for her whole life.”
In November, Britney’s lawyer, Samuel D. Ingham III, stated at a court hearing that the “Toxic” singer had been “scared” of her father, Jamie Spears, and wanted him removed from her conservatory. “He won’t act again if his father takes care of his career,” he said.
Los Angeles High Court Judge Brenda Penny rejected the suspension of 68-year-old Jamie from office, but said she was open to hearing arguments for her removal in the future. Bessemer Trust was named co-curator.
Jamie told CNN in December that he had not spoken to his daughter for months.
“When a family member needs special care and protection, families need to be strengthened, as I have done for the past twelve years, to safeguard, protect, and continue to love Britney unconditionally,” he said. “I have and will continue to provide unwavering love and fierce protection against those with self-interest and those who try to harm her or my family.”
Britney has been under guardianship since her infamous mental breakdown in 2007.
“Framing Britney Spears,” which was released Friday on FX and Hulu, showed the fame of the “Baby One More Time” singer, mental health issues as a result of severe public control, conservation and movement # FreeBritney.
Over the weekend, celebrities came out en masse to show their support, calling the pop star’s situation “sad” and “groundbreaking.”
But despite the latest microscopic attention to her ongoing legal issues due to the documentary, a source told Page Six on Monday that Britney is “happy and lively.”
The next court date on the battle for conservatism is February 11th.
