Last summer the famous musician and adult man Dave Grohl was drawn in a fire with an 11-year-old battery called Nandi Bushell. Even though his beef has been around for a long time squashe stated, a true and lasting peace never seemed secure until the two sealed their armistice with what provoked Bushell’s attack in the first place: an opportunity to play music with Foo Fighters.

We are pleased to report that these conditions have been met since last night.

Two videos, including a published by Bushell, show the wonderful people who join Grohl and Foo Fighters stage for the end of his set at the Los Angeles Forum. We see her waiting behind the scenes as Grohl introduces her to the crowd through a disinfected tale of the horrors of her drum war.

He talks about how nice it was to look at his phone last year and see something as funny as a talented kid lamenting the drums and inviting him into battle instead of the endless torrent of terrible shit that filled the headlines . Describes how he was attracted to a challenge that caused a child “[whooping] my fucking ass in front of the whole planet. ”He then recounts that he finally met his“ arch nemesis ”in person that night and took to the stage to“ play the worst drummer in the world ”.

After smiling and enjoying the applause of the crowd, Bushell gets behind the kit and the band begins “Everlong.” She performs the song with them, killing the part and endangering the future career prospects of poor Taylor Hawkins, who watches from behind as her work is stolen from her eyes. It ends, of course, with an extended drum. Then Bushell makes a wave to the roaring crowd and leaves the stage.

With its conditions in place, the war on drums seems not to be over now. May this peace last forever.
