Don Everly, of the rock duo, the Everly brothers died Saturday, according to a report.
A family spokesman told the Los Angeles Times that the 84-year-old died but did not reveal any cause.

“Don lived by what he felt in his heart,” the spokesman’s statement read. “Don expressed his gratitude for the ability to live his dreams … with his soul mate and his wife, Adela, and sharing the music that made him an Everly brother.”
Phil and Don Everly were popular in the 50s and 60s, when they released hits such as “All I Have to Do Is Dream” and “Bye Bye Love”. The brothers recorded nearly three dozen successful albums that made the Billboard Hot 100.

The country-influenced couple, known for their own melodies and acoustic guitar playing, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986, the institution’s first year. Rolling Stone magazine once described them as “the most important vocal duo in rock”.
In 1997, the ice duo received an award at the Grammys.
Phil Everly died in 2014 at the age of 74.
