Google diagnosed a widespread problem interruption which removed major services earlier this week, such as Gmail and YouTube, as a bug with its online person identification system.
Google by Alphabet Inc. has several tools that allow you to verify and track the users who are logged in. In October, the company began moving these tools to a new file storage system and, in the process, misreported parts of the data, according to a Friday post. This caused several of his services to go down for 47 minutes Monday morning, a rare technical misstep.
Google’s explanation comes amid increased cybersecurity surveillance. There is an attack on software provider SolarWinds Corp. exposed companies, including Microsoft Corp. and several US government agencies. A Google spokeswoman said Friday that the Internet giant has found no evidence that SolarWinds hacking affected Alphabet or Google systems.
