Multiple images of what appears to be next Mercedes-Benz C-Class 2022 and one of its AMG-tuned equipment has leaked online before the car’s official debut. The photos reveal style adjustments reminiscent of the Mercedes-Benz CLS and a massive tablet screen instead of dials in front of the driver.
The Australian website WhichCar, as well as Auto Express and other outlets, show leaked Class C images. Changes are minimal compared to the current car, at least on the outside.
Images of the white model on a red background appear to have a luxury-oriented non-performing finish. The new design apes for the Mercedes CLS and CLA sedans, which have also recently moved to the E-Class and S-Class sedans.
More images of a different model, probably the AMG-Line version of the sedan, would also have leaked (from WhichCar). Some of the images were also shared by Twitter users Near JK. These reveal AMG’s already well-known gray car formula, with slightly wider aerodynamic openings and a more sporty design treatment on the bumpers, though not much more. Definitely just a modified C-Class upgrade of the current generation.
The biggest changes come from within. The first thing I notice is the massive tablet, similar to the iPad, located between the top of the board and the steering wheel. This screen replaces the previous digital display cluster which, let’s say, was better integrated into a harmonious interior design. This new screen looks like it should be able to take it with you when you leave the car.

Images of the interior also show the apparent front display technology and a striped finish treatment on the dashboard surrounding a giant digital display in the center.
The high-angle rear lights, the sloping shoulder line, and the new fascia seem to make the C-Class stand out even less in training than the current car, ironically enough. I guess Mercedes ’design approach is now purely the same flavor in different sizes. We should see more car for its scheduled date, February 24th.
