Comedy series by Tina Fey and Meredith Scardino Girls5eva was one of the highlights of the first wave of Peacock (because it was co-created by Tina Fey and has a pretty famous cast), and now we finally have our first look at the series. Girls5eva, as you might guess by that name, is about a group of 90s girls who suddenly become relevant again when a rapper shows off their success, inspiring them to get together and plan their return. The girls are played by Sara Bareilles, René Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell and Busy Philipps, making this Bareilles the second major television project of the last two years and the second major television project for an incipient broadcasting service (made the music for Apple TV + Small voice and appeared in the series as herself).
Girls5eva will premiere at Peacock on May 6 and you can watch a trailer below.
