had instructed sales associates not to provide direct refunds of “Cyberpunk 2077” and instead to refer to CD Projekt Red again.
Some frustrated customers also reported that the PlayStation store initially refused to grant refunds, but Sony Corp. SNE,
reversed the course on Thursday and announced that it would remove “Cyberpunk 2077” from its PlayStation store and return the money to players. Microsoft MSFT,

Here’s how to apply for a refund of “Cyberpunk 2077” to the developer and several major retailers. Neither the game developer nor these companies shown below were immediately available for comment, so this story will continue to be updated as more information becomes available.
CProject D red: The game developer urged customers to wait for patches in January and February, which should improve the gaming experience. But it directs customers to request refunds directly from the places where they bought the game, which is where things get tough, as many retailers don’t fully refund open games that have already been played.
