Imagine a very special episode of “The Mutual Wild Kingdom of Omaha,” which was set in the middle of an unpretentious rural farm.
In fact, it was like a page in a storybook for surreal children, when a goat and a rooster rushed to the rescue of their chicken friend when he was attacked by a predatory hawk, as captured in a new and dramatic video viral.
Jaap Beets, a farmer from Gelderland, the Netherlands, was on his farmhouse on September 5 when he heard a commotion from his livestock outside.
“I was very proud that the rooster and the goat jumped to defend our chicken,” farmer Beets, 59, told SWNS. “I was also very relieved that the hen survived.”
His CCTV footage showed the moment a goshawk bombarded a feathered chicken flying in the air. Almost immediately, one of the roosters on the farm ran to the rescue of the chick, defending his feathered companion.
Bruin, a beet goat, also joined the confrontation, charging the hawk to scare him away. It turns out that goats, who have a deceptively cold reputation for being beautiful artists and doing trendy yoga, are actually mistreated vigilantes when they are pushed to their limits.
The dynamic duo finally saved the chicken, forcing the hawk to fly with an empty heel just about 17 seconds after being introduced.

The chicken suffered minor injuries, but Beets said the other animals on the farm “gathered around her” to bring her back to health.
Meanwhile, this was not the first time the Beets farmer had experienced such a great drama; his other goats and turkeys have jumped to rescue his hens twice before.
“In the seven years I’ve lived here, it’s the third attack on our chickens,” he said. “This was the second of a goshawk and the other was a duck.”

According to SWNS, the video of the beet of the amazing rescue team has been viewed more than half a million times on social media.
“This goat, however, what a hero. He deserves a whole bunch of alfalfa for himself, ”one person wrote in the comments.
Other viewers compared it to a classic “Disney adventure.”
“I grew up with a deep respect for nature and worked in environmental jobs and nature conservation all my life,” Beets said. “We try to make nature as easy as possible.”
