Jennifer Lopez seems to have a new friend in paradise, and just in time when the superstar tries to heal from her shocking breakup with Alex Rodriguez.
Rock star Lenny Kravitz, 56, who joined the cast of J. Lo’s upcoming film “Shotgun Wedding” last month, seems to have made a big impression on his co-star.
Shortly after Kravitz, the father of actress Zoë Kravitz, appeared on the set of the Dominican Republic, Lopez gave his daughter Emme guitar lessons from the handsome musician-actor (as seen in his IG). Lopez also filmed a seductive video of herself on the balcony of her DR hotel suite to the tune of Kravitz’s hit “Fly Away.”
Kravitz’s latest IG post shows him resting in a DR suite, reading a script and saying, “Get on this script. #ShotgunWedding.”
Lopez, 51, is filming the film while Rodriguez, 45, is in Miami. This is the first time since the pandemic began last March that the couple live apart and Lopez recently said they tried “therapy” to help their relationship during their forties together in Miami.
Page six exclusively revealed on Friday that the A-list couple canceled their engagement. The couple started dating her in 2017 and got engaged in 2019.
Lopez’s latest post on his social media showed a montage of his tumultuous laughter. In contrast, her 13-year-old daughter, Emme, who was portrayed Friday night on Lopez’s Instagram Story, was crying. Lopez videotaped the girl, who was sitting on a bed, being comforted by her father, Lopez’s ex-husband, Marc Anthony.
Kravitz is a writer in his own right, as well as a highly regarded singer-songwriter, record producer and actor. He is also known to be shirtless in his luxurious Bahamian hippie lair.
“He’s a much prettier guy than A-Rod, but he’s also a player,” someone who knows him told The Post. “Jennifer always says she hates being alone, but she has to be careful.”
Kravitz dated supermodels like Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima, musicians like Vanessa Paradis, actresses like Nicole Kidman and was married to actress Lisa Bonet, whom he divorced in 1993 after seven years of marriage.
Meanwhile, the alleged other woman in J-Rod’s breakup this week, “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy, has kept a low profile. He had admitted FaceTiming with Rodriguez earlier last month, and it has been mentioned as a possible reason for Lopez to leave A-Rod.
A friend of LeCroy’s in South Carolina told The Post Saturday that she was known as a “great stylist,” but that she always made it clear that she had ambitions beyond Charleston. The source claimed that in June 2020, A-Rod flew LeCroy to New York with a private jet and had him sign a non-disclosure agreement.
“He made it very, very clear that he wants a life with a higher profile and finer things,” he told The Post. “She was very good at what she did, but there was always drama with her clients, drama always.”
LeCroy told a source in The Sun that she was “furious” that A-Rod “never owned his part in their relationship” before breaking up with Lopez.
The Sun reported that LeCroy was “blinded” by the big breakup. He said he “knew Alex had issues with Jennifer,” as the news of his communication was made public, but “he never thought they would actually break up.”
Rodriguez, known for hanging out with everyone from Madonna to Cameron Diaz, has a history of infidelity.
Zoe Gregory, a British Playboy model, told The Sun in 2019 that before Rodriguez asked Lopez to marry him, she was sending him inappropriate text messages. “J.Lo is amazing and he doesn’t deserve that,” Gregory said. “As I was preparing to marry her, she would ask me for sex videos, demanding that we connect and ask me to make arrangements with other girls,” he said.
It is possible that López and Rodríguez have suspended their break-up given the enormity of their financial mess. A source told Page Six Friday exclusively that an army of lawyers and business managers has been analyzing the details of J-Rod’s joint business portfolio and properties last week.
“There have been frantic meetings at A.Rod Corp. in recent days on how to split its assets,” the source said. “Jennifer and Alex worked together on many business projects and real estate deals.”
“They weren’t married yet, so it’s less complicated and they both have a lot of wealth and they also put their own money into numerous companies.”
These projects include dealing with self-care company Hims & Hers, which turned them into investors in the company, as well as their collaboration with Fitplan, collaborating with the app to offer physical training.
And there are a lot of real estate in New York and Miami, including a $ 33 million mansion on Star Island in Miami that they bought together in August 2020.
But a different source says, “Everyone who works in the business part of the couple says mostly, ‘Thank God they didn’t buy the Mets.’
“While the Agreement would have seen Alex and Jennifer make their own investments, it would have been a big mess to get out of it.”
The pair lost their bet on the Mets to cover billionaire fund Steve Cohen.
J-Rod released a vague statement on Saturday saying, “All the reports are inaccurate. We’re working on a few things.” It was not specifically about whether they are still engaged.
A-Rod was also photographed in Miami on Saturday while talking on the phone with someone she referred to as a “girl.” He stated that he was not yet a free agent in the scene alone.
If the couple stays shattered, industry experts say it will be Rodriguez who will be successful, not Lopez.
Lopez helped A-Rod resurrect a public image he suffered from abuse during his 22-year career as an MLB player, where he won three MVP awards, played 14 All-Star games and helped drive the Yankees to victory in the World Series in 2009. That same year, he limited himself to taking banned substances between 01 and 03 while with the Texas Rangers.
Then, while playing with the Yankees at the time under the most lucrative baseball contract, Rodriguez was accused of receiving HGH from Anthony Bosch’s Biogenesis of America, Florida’s infamous anti-aging clinic. In 2017, he admitted he had been a “fool” for ruining his career and legacy for PEDs.
