Mulaney broke the news after Meyers noted that the comedian “has had a year.”
“I went to rehab in September, I left in October, I moved out of my ex-wife’s house,” Mulaney said, referring to his separation from his ex-wife Anna Marie Tendler. Then in the spring I went to Los Angeles and met and started dating a wonderful woman named Olivia. “
It turns out that Munn and Mulaney initially met at Meyers ’2013 wedding, but things became romantic after Mulaney came out of a drug abuse rehab stage.
“I got into this relationship that has been really nice with someone amazing,” she told Meyers. “And we’re having a baby together.”
Mulaney and Meyers also argued that Meyers was part of an intervention that eventually led Mulaney to seek treatment.
Now sober, Mulaney said, “Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself on this first recovery trip.”
He is the first child of the couple.
