Kansas City chiefs remove hairdressers with positive viruses while Daniel Kilgore was cut in half, sources say

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs had 20 people, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, other players and staff, lined up for a haircut Sunday with a barber who tested positive for COVID-19, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter .

Backup Chiefs center Daniel Kilgore cut his hair when the Chiefs removed the barber once COVID-19 test results arrived, Schefter reported. Kilgore and the barber wore masks.

Kilgore teased the news, tweeting with a “#NewProfilePic” with half his head shaved.

On Monday, the Chiefs placed Kilgore and wide receiver Demarcus Robinson on the reserve list / COVID-19 after considering them as close contacts.

Robinson and Kilgore have not practiced since they were put on the COVID-19 list this week. But they can play Super Bowl LV again on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers if they test negative for five consecutive days.
