As reported Limit date, Mark Hamill will star in the shirtless film comic Bert Kreischer in a film based on Kreischer’s stand-up routine billed as “The hangover they meet Midnight raceThe revolving ticket is based on a story in which Kreischer goes to Russia as part of a class trip to college and how – in a moment of panic because he can barely speak the language – he tells a group of mobsters called “the machine.” They are so tickled by this (and by Kreischer’s very drinking talent) that they performed several alcohol-fueled adventures with him, culminating in a cheating robbery and definitely, it’s all true (definitely). Here is Kreischer telling the story himself:

The movie is called The machine-will serve as a sequel, reaching Kreischer 20 years after he stole the train when he and his father (probably Hamill) are kidnapped by Russian mobsters. So it’s going to be a drunken party movie with a comedy thriller … so yeah, The hangover they meet Midnight race, for sure.

Interestingly, this will not be the first film based on the life of Bert Kreischer. When I was in college, I was the subject of a Rolling rock piece about how he was the best party-goer at the largest party school in the country, being capricious essentially after being drunk for six years at Florida State University. Although Kreischer did not participate, supposedly that story served as the basis for Van Wilder of National Lampoon, that is, we might not have gotten the Ryan Reynolds we all know and love today if it weren’t for this guy’s refusal to calm down and go to class. Hey, maybe Ryan Reynolds could make a cameo in the movie! And maybe I could play Deadpool in the cameo! And make references to the fact that Mark Hamill played Luke Skywalker.
