Let’s get ready to hug!
Puppy Bowl 2021 kicks off Sunday ahead of this year’s (probably) clever Super 20 Human Bowl 2021. Tom Brady, Gronk, Antonio Brown? Who are they even? The real players this year are Aaron Pawdgers, George Kibble, a two-legged dog named Jett and the many other adorable faces of this year’s puppy players.
The great game, now in its 17th edition, is dedicated to inspiring and adoptable dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and personalities. Speaking of dogs, Snoop Dogg and his best friend Martha Stewart will be hosting this year.
The event will see the Ruff and Fluff teams stand in a melee full of skin for the “Lombarky” trophy. Last year it was Team Fluff, which made Team Ruff the real underdogs this year.
The big game will be directed by ESPN Monday Night Football announcer Steve Levy and SportsCenter host Sage Steele with the help of animal advocates Kristen Bell, Valerie Bertinelli and Food Network star Duff Goldman . “Rufferee” Dan Schachner will join the game for the tenth year in a row. In addition, a crew of stuffed kittens will entertain spectators with some standing performances.
Earlier, a pre-game program with fan sports correspondents Rodt Weiler, James Hound, Sheena Inu and field reporters Brittany Spaniel and Herman Shepard will share visions of Puppy Bowl that only a dog could deliver.
The show prior to the last “mutt” airs at 13:00 EST / 10:00 PST, but the actual “ruff” housing starts at 14:00 EST / 11:00 PST on Sunday 7th February. Of course, there are two ways to look – on the Discovery + app and on the Animal Planet network.
These are some of the most prominent good boys and girls, in addition to the rest of the group, in the initial Puppy Bowl 2021 lineup.
