Restrictions on crossing the border between Mexico and the United States due to the coronavirus pandemic will be maintained until March 21, the Foreign Ministry reported.
On Twitter, the agency said that due to the situation of the pandemic in the country, where there are several states at a red light, a request was made to the US government to extend the deadline to implement these measures, which was accepted.
“The restrictions will remain in the same terms in which they have been developed since their implementation on March 21, 2020.
“Both countries will coordinate health measures in the border region that will be in force until 23:59 hrs. From March 21, 2021,” the tweet states.
