Two of the sport’s big names have come together when Paris Saint-Germain star vanguard Kylian Mbappé has his own color of the current signature shoe of NBA champion LeBron James.
@Jesuscare on Instagram previewed a first look at Mbappé’s take on the Nike LeBron 18, which looks like it wears a color scheme that pays homage to his home country, France, with bold blue and red accents on top of Knitposite 2.0 reminiscent of the French flag. Other details include the football player’s “KM” mark stamped on the tongue, two mini Swoosh logos embroidered on the toe, as well as an iridescent heel and outsole.
Mbappé’s Nike LeBron 18 color range has already landed at some overseas select retailers, but the brand has yet to confirm a launch in the state. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates.
UPDATE (01/02): AAccording to Foot Locker’s launch schedule, Mbappé’s Nike LeBron 18 will hit primary school-sized shelves on Jan. 7 for $ 160.
