I’ll have to disagree on the “It’s a first hand” part, as I think Nintendo went out of their way to make it a real hybrid. Where you can see that they got it is that people use it differently. Personally, I barely use it as a handheld device and some games just need the big screen. But others play it in both directions and even in the majority of hand. This is the genius of the switch … Much of it. But the price was below specs, yes.
Anyway, since they can’t compete with the two (really 3, as PC games grow every time), the beasts of power, the Switch is a perfect place for unique games. They already have a lot, but if third parties are smart, and it seems that some are like Capcom, the most exclusive games should be directed with the occasional port. Astral Chain and Octopath sold over a million copies each. Nintendo makes great games, but they can’t get enough of them on their own, so third parties should watch them now. It’s time
In my opinion, Nintendo should work with third parties for the Pro. That way, not only will MP4 and BOTW2 make good use of it, but some third-party games may be part of its release. And it would still be in the Switch family and would continue to be sold for a few years until it became its successor.
It’s about providing new gaming experiences to all Switch owners.
This could also mean add-ons, which can be tricky. The PSVR worked for Sony, but the Kinekt for MS … Not so much. But go! It’s Nintendo. They like to surprise us.
