According to reports, a new rumor has brought light to the Super Nintendo Switch or, as it is sometimes called, the Nintendo Switch Pro. Although there have been rumors and leaks pointing to the existence of a new and more powerful Nintendo Switch for more than a year, so far, these rumors and leaks have not materialized in any concrete or official . Unfortunately, this has not changed, but a new rumor has surfaced with a number of details about the rumored hardware.
The latest rumor gets in the way of a couple of verified informants in Reset Era who claim that the new Nintendo Switch is basically a PS4 with DLSS and a better CPU. In other words, it won’t take Nintendo games to the PS5 and Xbox Series X levels, but it will be between this new generation of games and the latest generation of games.
If this sounds like a big upgrade, it’s because it is, and that’s partly because this new model is more than a Nintendo Switch Lite level review and looks more like what the Wii U was for the Wii, or at least that is the claim. And, as expected, this will be reinforced with a new trick, though the rumor doesn’t say exactly what.
Beyond that, not much interest or consequences are disclosed about the system, other than that it is geared towards a 4K resolution, although it will probably only be for when it is docked. The leakers also mention a 2022 launch window and that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 can be released to the side.
Of course, and as always, take all this information with a grain of salt. Not only is there nothing official here, but even if it is somehow 100% accurate, it is also subject to change.
As expected, Nintendo has not commented on any of this, and will not. He hasn’t commented on any specific rumors about Nintendo Switch Pro or Super Nintendo Switch, and that won’t change, but if he does, we’ll be sure to update the story with everything it brings.
