We already know that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are on their way. We know from renovated Tensor processor, which is able to translate another language in real time and quickly edit photos in high resolution. Google too confirmed that a fingerprint sensor would be added under the screen, similar to the one recently released on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. And now, we know what the fingerprint sensor will look like, sort of.

Hiroshi Lockheimer, senior vice president of Android, sent one tweet apparently sent by mistake which included a screenshot where the fingerprint sensor will be incorporated into the Pixel interface. It is not clear which Pixel Screenshot model really does come, but a closer look points to a 1440 x 3200 screen resolution, which seems like a match for the near Pixel 6 Pro.

As for the fingerprint sensor that appears below the screen, it appears to be located slightly below the midline, making it accessible to both the right and left thumbs. Said a tipster it appears to be around the same area where it is placed in the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Lockheimer originally appeared to publish the image as a tribute to the new Material from you styles coming to Android 12. The next version of Android will extract a color palette from the wallpaper and automatically apply it to typography and other system elements for a dynamic look. Android 12 is currently in public beta. It has recently reached Platform Stability, so the APIs and system behaviors have been finalized, and it is stable enough to run on an unprecedented device like the Pixel 6 Pro.

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are expected to be officially announced in the coming months. We already knows how they will be …Rather, Google opted for a tricolor aesthetic than the colored slab we have seen in the latest generations of pixels. We also know that there will be a “camera band” that contains a lot of lenses, including a wide, ultra wide camera. We are encouraged from what we’ve seen so far, and Pixel’s leaks and rumors are sure to add to the hype.
