Project Athia release window for PS5 is announced

Athia project is one of the most mysterious games in Square Enix’s upcoming release line. As of right now, there aren’t many things to know about the title other than the fact that it has been developed thinking about the PlayStation 5 hardware. I mean, heck, the game doesn’t have an official name yet. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem like much more time will pass until we start to know more Athia project based on some new information that has been produced.

During Sony’s presentation at CES 2021 today, a video has been revealed Athia project it is scheduled to release exactly one year from January 2022. However, no new title film or game in action was shown alongside this revelation. Square Enix has also not confirmed the launch window in any way.

Given so little is known Athia project, it was reasonable that this could be a game a little further. Again, Square hasn’t said much about the title and hasn’t revealed a formal name yet. As such, I don’t think I would have surprised anyone if it was announced that it would not be published until the end of 2022 or even 2023. The fact that it is only a year away means that we will probably start getting more information about it. .

So far, however, there is still very little we have to go out. Perhaps the most remarkable detail about Athia project is that it is expected to be an exclusive console for PS5 for a full two-year period. The game will still hit PC, but it’s likely that those on Xbox won’t be able to get it until at least 2024.

Again, assuming this launch window stays true, Square Enix will probably have more to share Athia project in the coming months. When this happens, we are sure to inform you about the development of the game in our dedicated coverage center right here.
