Congratulations to Rosario Dawson, Who-in addition to being an actor, director and producer known and critically acclaimed for himself, he has now earned the privilege of being the next big Disney Enchanted mansion Victim of the day! True: Dawson has already officially done so has been dragged down by the constant dripping of content and the publication of news that the entertainment mega-giant is using to generate in advance what is somehow another enchanted mansion film, by the fall Daily posting notices of people who really, really enjoy watching on screen, delighted or not.
Of course, we only assume that Dawson will play another ghost victim in the inexorably upcoming role, joining a cast that includes the already established Tiffany Haddish and LaKeith Stanfield, and added yesterday by Loki starring Owen Wilson in the mix. Dawson, like Wilson, has a connection to Disney’s recent broadcast efforts: She appeared last year in the second season of The Mandalorian, playing the live animated action version Star Wars device Ahsoka Tano.
We may be wrong, though, and Disney intends to leak this new round of celebrities, not to be scared, but to doing the frightening ones themselves; it would certainly be more interesting to see how Wilson and Dawson played two of the 999 Happy Haunts of the Mansion, instead of seeing them, they are only suffering from a malevolent ectoplasm. If nothing else, they might be able to exorcise the memory of the first film Eddie Murphy remembered, or the lingering sense of what might have been surrounding him. Enchanted mansion Guillermo Del Toro’s own fan efforts to achieve one Mansion film done.
In any case, Dawson has had a very busy year: he is currently filming Kevin Smith Clerks III, co-star of the upcoming Hulu Michael Keaton with pharma-drama Dopesick, and repeats the role of Ashoka for his own title Star Wars streaming series.
