Although Samsung is not expected to officially announce the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite until sometime in June, it seems that the new leaked images have given us a look at Samsung’s next tablet a couple of months before.

In what appears to be press rendering published by noted leaker Evan Blass, it looks like the Tab S7 Lite shares a design very similar to last year standard tab S7, with a fully metallic body with rounded corners, side slightly drawers and dual camera module at the back.

Note that the Tab S7 Lite has a magnetic charging area on the back to store and recharge the included stylus from the tablet, along with AKG-tuned speakers. That said, it seems just like the Tab S7 Lite only has dual stereo speakers instead of the more powerful quad speakers that Samsung puts in Tab S7 and Tab S7 + normal.

Blass claims that the Tab S7 Lite will also come with a 12.4-inch LCD screen, though it was not mentioned that the Tab S7 Lite will support a high-speed refresh screen, like its more expensive siblings. And, like so many recent Samsung handsets, the Tab S7 Lite should also support 5G connectivity in some way thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chip.

Other specs that are rumored include 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a7,000 mAh battery with a 15 watt cable charge. The Tab S7 Lite is expected to be available in four colors (black, green, pink, and silver), and Samsung will likely be ready to make optional detachable tablet case covers or keyboard accessories.

However, the real surprise is that we are even seeing representations of the device, as the Tab S7 Lite is not expected to be officially announced until later. Samsung’s next Unpacked event, which is scheduled for April 28.

This means that Samsung could still have some small surprises for the Tab S7 Lite, although it would not hold any major change as the Tab S7 Lite seems to be positioned as the most affordable but least exciting mid-range Samsung slate, with a price probably closer to the $ 450 than the $ 850 that Samsung charges for S7 + tab.
