Sharon Osbourne may be in hot water with CBS after heating it with Sheryl Underwood in a recent episode of The Talk.
The problem started out of the air, when Osbourne’s friend, Piers Morgan, crashed Meghan Markle after the Duchess of Essex’s March 7 televised interview with Oprah Winfrey.
“I wouldn’t believe it if I read a weather report,” Morgan, 59, said the day after the show. Good morning Britain.

Two days later, Osbourne, 68, and Underwood had an intense conversation about the controversy surrounding Morgan.
“Did I like everything he said? Did I agree with what he said? No, ”Osbourne said The Talk. “It’s not my opinion … I support him for his freedom of speech and he’s my friend.”
Underwood, 57, asked Osbourne what he would say to people who felt that “while you are with your friend, it seems that you gave validity or refuge to something he has pronounced to be racist, though not do you agree
An excited Osbourne asked Underwood for an explanation of what Morgan had said was racist.
“I’ll ask Sheryl again, I’ve been asking you during the break and I’m asking you again, and don’t try to cry because someone should cry, it will be me,” Osbourne said.
“Educate me! Tell me when you heard him say racist things, ”he continued.

Underwood responded to his co-host, saying that “it’s not the exact words of racism, it’s the involvement and reaction to it.”
“Not wanting to approach her because she’s a black woman and trying to fire her or make her look less than she is, that’s what makes her racist,” Underwood said. “But right now I’m talking to a woman who I think is my friend and I don’t want anyone here to see this and think we’re attacking you for being racist.”
Following the exchange, CBS has announced an investigation into the situation.
“We are committed to a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace,” the network said in a March 12 statement. “All issues related to Wednesday ‘s episode of The talk are currently under internal review “.
The day the network made the announcement, Underwood, 57, admitted the day Steve Harvey’s morning show that her conversation with Osbourne surprised her.

“I thought we had a conversation like we normally do. But then I had the feeling that, wait a minute, that’s not what it usually is, ”Underwood explained.“ I also have another feeling that, okay, Sheryl, it’s time for you to move into the leadership position. It’s time to show what you’re made of and in a personal way. No matter what anyone says about you, I can show you something better than I can tell you. ”
Osbourne later issued a public apology.
“After some thought, after sitting down with your comments and sitting down with my heart, I would like to address The Talk’s discussion this past Wednesday,” Osbourne said on Twitter. “I have always been embraced with so much love and support from the black community and I have a deep respect and love for the black community.”
“To anyone of color that I have offended and / or to anyone who is confused or disappointed by what I have said, I really feel it. I panicked, felt blinded, defended myself, and allowed the fear and horror of being accused of being racist to take over, ”Osbourne continued.
“There are very few things that hurt my heart more than racism, so feeling associated with it made me spin quickly. I am not perfect, I continue to learn like the rest of us and I will continue to learn, listen and do better, ”he added.
