After all, it looks like someone included women in the sequel.
Limit date reports Renée Elise Goldsberry, best known for her Tony-winning performance as Angelica Schuyler a Hamilton, aired on Marvel Studios’ next Disney + program Ella-Hulk. Tatiana Maslany is the protagonist the title character, a lawyer with powers of attorney similar to that of Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo, who will appear on the show). Goldsberry will play a character named Amelia, who could be Marvel Comics character Amelia Hopkins, but it’s unclear.
And, as the headline says, this casting makes Goldsberry the first original Hamilton star to get a role in the MCU. Others, included creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has worked with Disney before, but no one has appeared on the MCU yet. Bye now.
Between Hamilton i Ella-Hulk, however, Goldsberry has been incredibly active on screen. He recently appeared in CBS ‘ Bad, From Netflix Altered carbon, NBC Zoey’s extraordinary playlist, and in films like Eli Roth’s The house with a clock on its walls and those critically acclaimed Waves, just to name a few.
Ella-Hulk will be directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia with Jessica Gao as the showrunner and chief writer. It doesn’t have a release date yet, but sometime in 2022 it seems like a reasonable guess.
