“Love Story (Taylor’s Version)” debuted at number 1 on this week’s Hot Country Songs chart, according to Billboard.
The song is Swift’s first No. 1 debut on this list. It’s also his eighth No. 1 career on the Hot Country Songs chart, the latest being “We Are Never Ever Back Together” from 2012.
“Love Story” originally appeared on Swift’s album “Fearless”, which was released in 2008. Swift has been working hard on the recording of this album after losing rights to her pre-Lover master recordings. “of 2019 after being sold to a company. owned by music manager Scooter Braun. (Braun’s company sold them in late 2020).
Swift’s new recording, titled “Fearless (Taylor’s version),” will be released on April 9th.
