Tesla cars already have a wide range of Easter eggs. such as the ability to activate “pet mode, compatibility with volume settings reaching 11 and above. BRecently, Tesla owners have discovered a new trick that could be the most childish so far.

Recently seen by @tesla_master on Twitter, looks like Tesla Support has been added for a voice command that allows you to access the car’s charging port by saying “Open the hole,” with the attached “Close the hole” command that wants to close the port when you’ve finished loading.

While this recent discovery it only represents a handful of files more than 150 unofficial voice commands that run on Tesla cars certainly draw attention that you simply ask the car to fold or unfold the mirrors.

Based on a a handful of videos on YouTube, the “Open / Close Butthole” commands appear to work on a range of Tesla brands and models, including older Model S and Model 3 vehicles. On some cars, however the order can cause the trunk or even the glove compartment to open, so don’t try this while the car is moving. And, although the command has begun to draw much more attention by the end of the year, the Easter egg was actually seen already April 2020 but until recently it had not been known or available in a wider range of vehicles.

Oh, and just in case there are big ones Beavis and Butthead For fans out there, Tesla also supports a slightly tuned voice command that allows users to open the charging port by saying “Open Bunghole.”

Still, with Tesla CEO Elon Musk somewhat fond of responding to random feature requests from users on Twitter, you can bet that “Open Butthole” won’t be the last questionable voice command that is added to Tesla cars. Who says smart cars can’t be a little silly (or maybe silly), too?
