The federal judge considers the ‘shaman QAnon’ too dangerous to be released from prison

Jacob Chansley, the self-proclaimed “QAnon Shaman” who took part in the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol, will not be released from prison before his trial, a federal judge determined Monday.

In court documents cited by CNN, Judge Royce Lamberth argued that Chansley’s statements were old President TrumpDonald Trump, the United States and South Korea come to an agreement on the cost-sharing of Graham troops: Trump can make the GOP bigger, stronger or “could destroy it.” The person responsible for his alleged illegal entry into the Capitol building showed that Chansley did not care about his actions.

“The court considers that no condition or combination of conditions of release will reasonably ensure the appearance of the accused as required. [in court] or the safety of others and the community, ”Lamberth ruled.

“The defendant is characterized as a peaceful person who was welcomed by police officers in the Capitol building on January 6. The Court does not consider any of his attempts to manipulate the evidence and minimize the seriousness of his actions “, continued the judge.

Chansley faces multiple charges stemming from the Jan. 6 assault, including violent entry and obstruction of an official proceeding. He was one of the best-known supporters of the QAnon conspiracy to appear at the Capitol that day and allegedly left a note for the former vice president.
