The United States has administered 187 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, CDC says

(Reuters) – The United States had administered 187,047,131 doses of COVID-19 vaccines and distributed 237,796,105 doses as of Sunday, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

These figures are higher than the 183,467,709 doses that according to the CDC had been administered on April 10 of the 237,791,735 doses administered.

The agency said 119,242,902 people had received at least one dose, while 72,630,892 people had been fully vaccinated as of Sunday.

The CDC count includes the Modern and Pfizer-BioNTech two-dose vaccines, as well as the unique Johnson & Johnson vaccine starting at 6 a.m. Sunday EDT.

A total of 7,766,002 doses of vaccine have been administered at long-term care centers in the United States, according to the agency.
