Jefferson County, Colo. – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a woman for murder, arson and child abuse following a fire at her home Friday in unconnected Jeep.
Southern Metro Fire Rescue S.C. Responded to a basement fire at 6:40 a.m. Friday at the 7100 block of Dewey Street.
The fire is under control. Firefighters found a cat inside and gave it oxygen. The cat reunites with its owner. The team also found a dog inside. Staff at the scene work to calm the dog down and reunite it with its owner. One was transferred to the hospital. pic.twitter.com/ICYLx2BzEI

One person was injured and taken to hospital where he was treated and released. Many children were inside, but were safe.
Firefighters found a cat inside and gave it oxygen. A dog was also at home, not injured.
The sheriff’s office arrested Christy Sinner, 38, on suspicion of first-degree murder, first-degree arson and two counts of child abuse. They did not provide further details on what happened.
Sheriff’s Office and Southern Metro fire investigators are operating the scene of Saturday’s fire. The investigation is ongoing.
