Intel posted a cryptic teaser on Twitter this morning it seems to suggest that the chip maker is preparing to release more details about its long-awaited gaming graphics card, the Xe HPG.
What this information is no one he knows, but Intel has been dropping small crumbs on the Xe HPG for a few months now. Last August, Intel said its gaming GPU could be shipped sometime in 2021, and during its presentation at CES 2021, the company mentioned that it had discovered a way to use an integrated GPU and a diskthe GPU at the same time.
Intel did not specify whether this would be a feature only for its graphics cards and processors, or whether it would be compatible with Nvidia and AMD cards, but of course something the company is working on orn. We may be able to hear more about the feature during an upcoming one Intel issued by web on March 23rd. Or maybe the date of revelation will be March 26th.
Why March 26? In accordance with Wccftech, there is a binary code in the video that, if translated correctly, points to a hidden one scavenger hunting website. “Welcome to HPG’s Xe Scavenger Hunt” is prominently displayed on a small black box on the website. There is a March 26 at 9 p.m. PST “release date” and a note for people to come back that day and enter their “secret code”. It looks like the code have been broken by a Twitter user.
There is no other information on how to find this secret code. It may be tied to the March 23 webcast, but it doesn’t seem likely at this time. Like most scavenger hunts, there are a number of hidden objects and puzzles that need to be solved before the mystery is finally revealed or freed from the escape room; Gizmodo contacted Intel for suggestions, but hasn’t heard anything yet.
Intel officially launched its first Xe desktop GPU in January. However, they are primarily for cheap desktop computers, not for gaming, and most cards are included in pre-built computers rather as a standalone, standalone product. The Xe HPG is supposed to be more than a mid-range card and is competitively priced compared to Nvidia and AMD.

So Intel is getting ready something, but it is clear that attempts are being made to create more mystery to provoke emotion. Consider us excited.
