After finding a body with a sign listing him as responsible for the death of three Puerto Rican police officers in a shooting that occurred yesterday in Carolina, authorities were able to identify the same.
The body that was found in the street San jOse, intersection with the marginal Muñoz Rivera, Santurtzi was identified by relatives like David Emanuel Rivera Batiz, of 25 years that was natural of Ponce.
Authorities have not confirmed that this case is related to that of the police officers who died yesterday.

Officers attached to the Homicide Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps in conjunction with the prosecutor on duty investigated the facts.
This morning the commissioner appointed by the Puerto Rican Police Negotiator, Antonio López, confirmed the finding of the body. In an interview with Ràdio Illa, the official stated that: “we have to corroborate it first to see if it is the same person.”
The written message placed next to the corpse reads: “I am responsible for the murder of the guard … Here it is.”
