“Hi. I’m Ale and I’m asexual. No, I didn’t choose to be so, because asexuality isn’t chosen, although I do choose to wear my black ring. I don’t need to enjoy life or sex, no I miss meeting more people and I’m not very extremist I’m not waiting for ‘the right thing’ and that has nothing to do with celibacy I’m not a lonely person, cold or indifferent, I’m just asexual and I’m proud of be it, ”Alejandra expresses in the video shared last June on her asexual SV account.

“Asexuality is a sexual orientation in which low or no sexual attraction is experienced. Asexual people do not see or find a characteristic that calls us to a sexual interest in other people. This is not a matter of decision, it is not “You can’t decide to be asexual or not, just as you can’t decide to be heterosexual or homosexual. That doesn’t mean we don’t have feelings, we can’t fall in love, it doesn’t mean we can’t or don’t want to have a relationship.”
As Alejandra explains in this video, asexuality is “sadly invisible in our society.”
