We officially remember a case for PC that could explode in flames

As we reported earlier this month, The HZ case of NZXT (certainly beautiful) had a problem in which, at some point, it could literally burst into flames. The company reluctantly apologized, but this process has advanced to a full “withdrawal” of more than 30,000 cases.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a full withdrawal notice last week, which despite the name does not actually involve sending the cases. Instead, his advice is to “stop using the holster” (easier said than done if it’s your PC) and get an NZXT repair kit, which includes a set of nylon screws that no light a fire.

The notice affects “about 32,000” cases sold in the United States, although the USCPSC notes that “about 1,024 cases were also sold in Canada.”
