Where to see the Oscar nominees for Best Picture of 2021

For a time, the biggest cinematic story of 2020 was that of movies they were not coming out, as the pandemic closed the cinemas and the release dates of some of the biggest blockbusters of the year were given (see you later, Black widow i There is no time to die, hopefully) and the most buzz-bait awards (or is there another reason Spielberg directed a remake) West Side Story?). But no more, because it turns out that many good films were still released last year, and many of them have just been nominated for Oscars.

Yes, the celebration of Hollywood’s annual mutual admiration continues to happen, even if things are a little different this year. Prizes will not be awarded until April 25, the last point of the year for an Oscar ceremony since 1932. Some films not released until 2021 will still be eligible, such as the Academy changed the eligibility window and removed restrictions that required a film release.

But the biggest difference between this year’s Oscar and any other is that you can do it easily (if not necessarily) cheap) see most candidates right now, without leaving home. You no longer have to wait for this art house release to hit the biggest city near you, or for your favorite director’s next masterpiece to come out on HBO with COVID, almost now everything is ready for a prize. Heck, the most awarded film of the year, Mank (10 nominations) even released on Netflix.

This is where the nominees for the top categories at the 2021 Academy Awards can be played.
