PS Plus continues to offer “free” games to subscribers, and in recent months has even started offering them PlayStation 5 games. If you don’t have a PS5 still impossible to find, you’re not entirely ALONE. Just claim these games using a web browser.
For over $ 10 a month (or $ 60 a year), PS Plus allows members to play online games. Beyond that, subscribers receive monthly games at no additional cost. (These games are only “free” if you sign up. - First, go to Sony landing page for PS Plus monthly games.
- Click “more info” for the game you want, which will take you to the store page.
- If you signed in to the store with the same PlayStation account you registered with PS Plus, the price tag should be exhausted. Instead of a “Buy” button, you should see the “Add to Library” icon. Click on it.

When you finally get your hands on a PS5, you’ll see all of your claimed games in the console’s game library.
Still, there is a small wrinkle. For example, Model is available on PS4 and PS5 (and, yes, PC). If you pick it up via PS Plus, you will only get the PS5 version. To play it on PS4, you’ll need to buy a copy. When Kotaku i have tried this workaround with Model, the game did not appear in our PS4 library, but we were able to download it on a PS5.
An exclusive PS5 game, such as Destruction of AllStars, will not be able to play at all on your PS4, but you knew it.
It might take a while until you can get a PS5. With this solution, you can at least start playing with a handful of killer games.
