The Zimbabwean government plans to start 30 days of blockade regulations following an increase in coronavirus infections during the holiday season, Vice President Constatino Chiwenga said on Saturday afternoon.
“Concentrations are reduced to no more than 30 people at all funerals,” Chiwenga told reporters in the capital, Harare. “Other meetings in weddings, churches, bars, bottle shops, gyms and restaurants are prohibited for 30 days. Restaurants, bottle shops and bars are closed for 30 days, except for bars and restaurants serving residents of the hotel. “
Essential services such as hospitals, pharmacies and supermarkets can be opened, with only essential staff.
