Gwyneth Paltrow reveals that she is a long-time COVID-19 carrier with “healing” yet to be done

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she contracted COVID-19 at the beginning of the pandemic and that she has persistent symptoms.

Thus, the Oscar-winning actor, “Shakespeare In Love”, would be 10% of patients with coronavirus who carry long-term, according to researchers.

In a recent post titled “Curing My Body for a Long-Term Detox” on its GOOP website, Paltrow accidentally dropped the revelation after an introduction about cleansing his diet.

“A little background: I had COVID-19 at first, and it left me with a bit of long tail fatigue and brain fog,” he wrote. “In January, they did some tests on me that showed really high levels of inflammation in the body.”

Paltrow said she consulted with a functional medicine doctor, who told her that “the road to healing would be longer than usual” and put her on a keto-based diet. The “Iron Man” star spent much of the rest of his article selling products for sale on his GOOP site.

Long-haul carriers give negative evidence of the disease, but its impact persists. “This condition can affect everyone, old and young, healthy people and those who suffer from other conditions,” according to UC-Davis Health. “It has been seen in people hospitalized with COVID-19 and in patients with very mild symptoms.”
