The video recently released from the siege of the Capitol shows the rioters facing the police, who are being released by the desks of the Senate

The New Yorker on Sunday released new ones images of the interior of the U.S. Capitol by a journalist who followed the riot police through the building to the Senate chambers.

A first scene of the video shot by journalist Luke Mogelson shows the crowd marching around the building and attempting to “betray” and “defend its constitution, defend its freedom.”

A man tells an agent that he is trying to block the crowd. The man adds, “We’re listening to Trump, your boss.”

Can you hear another man in the video yelling, “Where are they,” as he looks into the Senate chambers?

“There were almost not enough law enforcement to defend themselves from the crowd, which wrapped the officers in cans and bottles,” Mogelson wrote in his detailed account of the Capitol violation.
